This activity allows participants to give each other a closer look into either their personal or work lives by asking them to share a significant item or project with the group.
How to

Ask participants to show off something that gives insight into their life.

To make it personal: Ask participants to show off a significant item in their space and share its meaning.

To make it more work-focused: Ask participants to share projects they’re working on and share their learnings, solicit feedback, explain future plans or answer questions.

What we like about it
By having group members share an item that’s important to them or their work, they have an opportunity to self-reflect and provide others with a glimpse into what they’re about or what they work on.
Tips
If participants can’t easily access their item, ask the group to share photos instead.
