How to
In person
Virtual/hybrid
- Prepare enough bingo cards for each person to have their own, personalized card.
- If you’re not sure where to start when building the bingo cards, we recommend asking all participants to do some pre-work ahead of the meeting by sending you (the facilitator) one fun fact about themselves. That way, you’ll have a list of qualities that you can disperse among bingo cards, and you know that everyone will have something to share.
- Set a timer and encourage the group to mingle and find people who share a description on their bingo card.
- The first player to get 5 squares in a line (diagonal, row, column) and shout “bingo!” wins the game.
What we like about it
It’s a great way to learn something new or celebrate the little things that make your team unique.
Tips
- We use Miro to create our bingo cards, but there are some great websites that can help you do it too.
- When planning get-to-know-your-colleague bingo, keep your ears peeled for fun facts about your colleagues in the weeks leading up! It’s fun if you have new facts about people that others may not know.
